A young man, Alex Corvis, is executed in the electric chair accused of having killed his girlfriend. But the boy is innocent and returns to earth in the guise of the Crow to seek justice and avenge the real killers. Alex thus ventures into a nightmarish world where corrupt policemen protect drug trafficking and spend their time raping young girls… Thus we arrive at the third episode of the series inspired by the comic book story drawn by James O'Barr and, as was inevitable, the quality continues to decline. After Vincent Perez (who at least physically was "suitable" for the role) this time to play the Crow we find the unknown Eric Mabius, who immediately seems unfit for the role, at least for his inexpressive face and "good boy". To this is added the disastrous choice of the screenwriter to change the look of the "black avenger" who, in the first part of the film, wears a kind of mechanic's suit that makes him look more like Michael Myers than the Crow, while, in the second, he wears a coat with fur around the neck that turns him into a kind of "whitened" Candyman. The black charm of the Crow is reduced to zero! The story then certainly does not stand out for its originality as it almost exactly reproduces that of the first episode, even having practically identical scenes (see the sequence of the shooting inside the bar); as well as the soundtrack and dark-style settings that seem a poor copy of Proyas' film. In short, another bad return from the world of the dead for the poor Crow!
