LOST VOYAGE

In September 1972, the cruise ship Corona Queen mysteriously disappears in the waters of the Bermuda Triangle. Thirty years later, the ship reappears in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The physicist Aaron Roberts and a television crew looking for scoops organize an expedition to recover the wreck and understand what really happened. They will discover at their expense that the ship did not return alone, that it brings with it a terrible and unsettling mystery, and that the passengers are not entirely dead... Another film dedicated to the famous exploits of the Cursed Triangle. Unlike its recent predecessors, the film stands out significantly above average and proves to be enjoyable. The direction is discreet, although in the plot notable are the references and nods to the more famous "Event Horizon - Punto di non ritorno" and "The Mystery of the House on the Hill". The only flaws are the lack of truly strong and frightening situations or scenes, capable of making the viewer jump in their seat, and the poor quality of the digital special effects that, if made with more care, would have certainly benefited the film. However, overall, an enjoyable film capable of making a good hour and a half of pure and healthy entertainment. Recommended for those who have always been fascinated by the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle, but also for the occasional viewer not looking for masterpieces or particular political-social messages. Not memorable but certainly discreet. Among the actors, the presence of veteran Lance Henriksen should be noted.
