Willem Dafoe

Biografia

William James Dafoe (nato il 22 luglio 1955), americano naturalizzato italiano, è attore, doppiatore e membro fondatore della compagnia teatrale sperimentale The Wooster Group. Ha recitato in una vasta gamma di film, tra cui Streets of Fire, To Live and Die in L.A., Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, The English Patient, The Last Temptation of Christ, Mississippi Burning, Wild at Heart, The Boondock Saints, Inside Man, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Vampire, The Aviator, American Psycho, Antichrist e prestato inoltre la sua voce nei film Fantastic Mr. Fox and Finding Nemo. Dafoe è stato nominato per tre volte all'Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista. La prima volta per il suo ruolo in Platoon (1986), la seconda per la sua interpretazione in Shadow of the Vampire (2000) e la terza volta per The Florida Project (2017).
